Butterfly Photos

Bonjour my petite pois.
I recently went on holiday with my family and we visited a butterfly farm. While we were there I took some snaps and they turned out quite well, don't you think?

I think this is a Glass-Winged Butterfly, they're totes amazeballs! It's sat on a special feeding table and eating some weird stuff. Cute!

I'm not sure what type of butterfly this little fellow is but he is still a beautiful creature. Ahhhh...

The boy in the pink tee is my cousin - all the butterfly's were dive-bombing him. He loved it though and I got tons of shots with him smiling cheekily at the camera. Not sure what butterfly he's holding but so adorable!

How To Start A Blog

Heya peeps! I started this blog because I saw how cool other blogs looked, but it was quite hard. I thought I'd give you some tips on how, just in case any of you lot wanted to start one!

The first thing on your to do list is a theme. Choose one that you know about and make sure it's interesting. Maybe something like fashion, cooking or books? You also need to decide whether you want to write/type or make videos! Next chose the name. It could be your name or something to do with your chosen theme. Make sure it's catchy and not too long. You could use blogspot or wordpress to host your site.

Now you'll need to get started. Chose a blog template to begin with, but remember you can change the colours and layout later. Then pick your colour theme and background - make sure it's one you totes heart, because you'll see it every time you log on.

Add some widgets down the side >>>
You can pick from games to counters and text to images. These make your blog look more professional! They also make it more interesting to your viewers!

When your writing your posts again make sure you choose something interesting that you would want to read about. Try and have a quirk to your writing so that as soon as they start reading, your viewers will know it's you (i.e. I say reem and totes a lot).

Finally, show your pearly whites! You need to enjoy yourself because if you really hate writing your blog, your readers will be able to tell.

Guardian Angel

I LOVE this book!!! I first found out about it through a magazine as they did an interview with the 14-year-old girl who wrote it! When I found out about Sasha I was amazed. She has also written two other fab books but I was most interested in this book. She writes way better than a lot of other authors I've read and because she is young herself, you can totes feel raw emotion and situation when you read this novel.

She heads to mature city by chatting about peer pressure and what it's like to lose someone you love. It's also a very unique and clever book that is really inspiring to any young person. The cover is perfect - it's pretty, subtle and really suits the book inside without giving anything away. Well reem!

At the very start of the book, the main character Lina dies. She had been a victim of peer pressure and had been taking drugs and drinking alchohol. Now she's stuck in the limbo stage until she's cremated. She then decides to help her friends and family by letting them know she's there and working to stop her accident ever happening to anyone else. Woah.

I heart the way that she wrote it as the late victim of the pressure which must be a hard thing to do. Sasha is destined for authordom and I really hope there's a second book! Top marks, Sash!

Free Accessories

Sorry to disappoint you all, but this post isn't about a random shop that gives away free bangles and charms to strangers. It's about using what you've got and being grateful for what you have. Now, that sounds totes yawnville, so let me put it in a different way. I'm gonna teach you lot how to make your own unique necklaces and how to find fab fashion accessories in the back of your wardrobe.

So. Necklaces.
I'm usually quite organised, but somehow, I've managed to lose all my good necklaces. I really needed one to go with a plain tee, so I made one on my own! Here it is...

I didn't literally make this - I'm not that good! But I did find them and put them together. Because they're both old with a dark base it gives that *my fav necklace* look. It totes unique and look really expensive!

To make your own, you'll need plain chain - ask you parents if you don't have one. Next you need an old ring but try to match the base (metal) colours to make it look shop bought. It doesn't matter about the size or shape of the ring, but patterned or coloured rings look good. Alternatively,  you could use a charm or a small loose keyring/phone charm.

Anything can happen when you mooch...
I was just mooching through some drawers when I found these little beauts!

This style of sunnies are really in right now. I saw some shades like these in Primark but not as cool and for like £4! As well as the smooth yet funky shape, this rim of these treasures are well reem - look!

It turns out that these were my Dads old ones - and they were vintage! They were too small for him now so he let me have them! They look amaze with anything and add a touch of moviestar glamour.
Why not try this for yourself? Check drawers, cupboards, wardrobes and ask you parents/grandparents to look through their old stuff too.
